AMU Invites Bids for O&M of 3 MW Solar Project and Transmission Line

Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), Uttar Pradesh, has issued a tender for the comprehensive annual maintenance of its 3 MW ground-mounted solar project, along with the operation and maintenance (O&M) of a 33 kV transmission overhead line spanning approximately 3 km.

Key Details:

• Bid Submission Deadline: April 8, 2025
• Estimated Cost: Rs. 260.2 lakh
• Earnest Money Deposit (EMD): Rs. 52,050
• Performance Bank Guarantee: 5% of the contract value
• Payment Security Deposit: 3% of the contract value (deducted from running bills)

Scope of Work:

• Preventive and corrective maintenance of the solar system, including module cleaning, inverter checks, performance monitoring, and security services.
• Inspection and maintenance of the 33 kV transmission line, including fault detection, insulator/conductor/pole repair, and vegetation control.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Must hold a valid “A Class” electrical contracting license.
• Should have O&M experience for a minimum 3 MW ground-mounted solar project.
• Must provide a solvency certificate for at least 40% of the estimated tender cost.
