Ashoka Buildcon has announced a groundbreaking investment of Rs 9,000 crore to establish a green hydrogen plant in Bihar, marking a significant milestone in India's renewable energy journey. The project, formalized through an MoU with the Bihar government at the Bihar Business Connect 2024 event, includes the construction of a 1,250 MW solar power plant in Begusarai. This facility will generate renewable electricity to produce green hydrogen via water electrolysis. Expected to be completed within 1.5 to 2 years, the project aligns with India's net-zero emissions goals while boosting Bihar's economy through job creation and sustainable development.
