ACME Solar Commissions 112.5 MW Second Phase of Rajasthan Project
May 21, 2025
ACME Solar Holdings Ltd. has successfully commissioned the second phase of its ACME Sikar Solar Power Project in Bikaner, Rajasthan, adding 112.5 MW of capacity. Combined with the earlier commissioned 52.5 MW in early May, the total installed capacity now stands at 165 MW out of a planned 300 MW. The remaining capacity is under commissioning.
This milestone boosts ACME Solar’s total operational capacity from 2,592.5 MW to 2,705 MW, highlighting the company’s drive to accelerate project development and expand its clean energy footprint. Once fully operational, the project is expected to generate approximately 780 million units of clean electricity annually.
The energy produced will be sold on power exchanges on a merchant basis, with allocation determined by optimal commercial viability. ACME Solar’s continued execution underlines its strategic push toward sustainable power generation in India.
