ACME Solar Places 3.1 GWh BESS Order with Narada & Trina Energy to Accelerate Clean Power Deployment

Jul 07, 2025

ACME Solar has placed a landmark order exceeding 3.1 GWh of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) with Zhejiang Narada and Trina Energy, marking one of the largest such procurements in India to date. The storage systems will be deployed across ACME’s upcoming firm and dispatchable renewable energy (FDRE) and battery-linked projects, expected to be commissioned over the next 12–18 months across multiple Indian states.

Deliveries will be executed in a phased manner within four to eight months of FY26, ensuring accelerated deployment and early revenue realization. The procurement remains within budgeted capex estimates, allowing ACME to maintain financial prudence while ensuring high technical performance and supplier reliability.

The advanced BESS units comply with global safety and performance standards including IEC and UL certifications, underlining ACME Solar’s focus on quality and grid reliability. This strategic move reflects the company’s growing role in India’s energy transition and its commitment to supporting a stable, low-carbon power infrastructure through advanced storage technologies.

The order also aligns with India’s broader push toward integrating storage solutions with renewables to improve dispatchability and meet rising power demand efficiently.
