ACME Wins SECI Green Ammonia Auction to Supply IFFCO Paradeep

ACME Cleantech Solutions Pvt. Ltd. has secured another major achievement in India’s green hydrogen and ammonia sector. The company emerged as the winner in Solar Energy Corporation of India’s (SECI) green ammonia auction under the Strategic Interventions for Green Hydrogen Transition Programme (Mode-2A–Tranche-I).

As per the contract, ACME will supply 100,000 tonnes per annum (TPA) of green ammonia to IFFCO Paradeep at a tariff of Rs49.75 per kg. This auction win highlights ACME’s growing leadership in India’s clean energy transition.

This is ACME’s fourth win in a planned series of 13 auctions. Together, these auctions represent a total procurement target of 724,000 TPA of green ammonia, showing the government’s strong push for cleaner alternatives in the fertilizer and industrial sectors.

Notably, SECI has already conducted nine auctions under this series. Earlier in the same month, ACME also won the eighth auction, where it secured a similar contract to supply 100,000 TPA of green ammonia to IFFCO Kandla, Gujarat, at a higher tariff of Rs54.73 per kg for a duration of 10 years.

These consecutive wins strengthen ACME’s role as a key player in India’s green hydrogen and ammonia ecosystem.
