Adani Energy Wins Rs25,000 Crore Transmission Project in Rajasthan

Adani Energy Solutions Ltd (AESL) has secured a Rs25,000 crore order for the Bhadla (Rajasthan)-Fatehpur (Uttar Pradesh) HVDC transmission project. The project aims to evacuate 6 GW of renewable energy from Rajasthan’s Renewable Energy Zones (REZ) to North India and the national grid.

AESL won the project through the Tariff Based Competitive Bidding (TBCB) process. The transmission system, which spans approximately 2400 km, will have a 6,000 MW HVDC capacity and 7,500 MVA transmission capacity. AESL plans to complete the project in 4.5 years, contributing to India’s decarbonization efforts.
