Adani Green Energy Sees 7% Surge Following Wind-Solar Project Commissioning

Adani Green Energy Ltd (AGEL) reported a 37% YoY increase in operational capacity, reaching 11,609 MW, driven by 2,693 MW solar and 438 MW wind additions. Energy sales grew 23% YoY to 20,108 million units in 9M FY25, supported by robust capacity expansion. Over the last four years, AGEL has achieved a 49GR in energy generation.
The company also commissioned a 57.2 MW wind component of its wind-solar hybrid project in Khavda, Gujarat, operational from January 15, 2025, raising its total renewable capacity to 11,666.1 MW.
On the stock front, AGEL surged 7.19% to Rs 1,080, later trading at Rs 1,037.10, though down 38.73% YoY. Speculation around overseas fundraising has fueled Adani stocks recently.
