Adani Total Gas and Jio-bp Join Forces to Redefine Fuel Retail Experience

Adani Total Gas Ltd. (ATGL), a joint venture between Adani and TotalEnergies, has partnered with Jio-bp, the fuel retail arm of Reliance BP Mobility Limited, to enhance the auto fuel retail experience for Indian consumers. Under the agreement, select ATGL fuel stations will offer Jio-bp’s premium petrol and diesel, while select Jio-bp outlets will integrate ATGL’s CNG dispensing units within ATGL-authorized Geographical Areas (GAs).

This strategic collaboration aims to increase the availability of high-performance and clean fuels such as compressed natural gas (CNG) for transportation, in addition to improving customer convenience. Jio-bp is a key player in the mobility and energy solutions space, offering conventional fuels alongside compressed biogas (CBG), EV charging, and LNG options.

By combining their respective strengths—ATGL’s city gas distribution infrastructure and Jio-bp’s expertise in high-quality liquid fuels—the partnership seeks to address the growing demand for reliable, low-carbon mobility solutions in India. This initiative also aligns with both companies’ broader energy transition goals.

The partnership is expected to boost fuel access for transport fleets, improve infrastructure efficiency, and support India’s clean mobility ambitions through a more integrated and consumer-centric retail network.
