Adani Wind Secures 165 MW Wind Turbine Order from Fourth Partner Energy
Aug 29, 2025
Adani Wind, the wind energy manufacturing arm of Adani New Industries (ANIL), has won a 165 MW wind turbine supply order from Fourth Partner Energy (FPEL). The order involves supplying 50 wind turbine generators (WTGs) from Adani’s 3.3 MW platform for FPEL’s upcoming wind projects across Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Karnataka, and Gujarat.
Under the agreement, Adani Wind will handle the supply of nacelles, hubs, drivetrains, blades, and towers, along with supervising foundation works, commissioning, and long-term O&M services. With a 2.25 GW integrated wind turbine manufacturing facility at Mundra, Gujarat, Adani is strengthening its position in India’s wind manufacturing and services sector. The company has also recently secured external orders of 69.3 MW each from First Energy and Opera Energy.
FPEL, which currently operates 1.6 GW of renewable capacity, is rapidly expanding with a target of 9 GW by FY31, including 2 GW of solar and wind projects under development across four states. It aims to reach 3.6 GW capacity by FY27. The company raised USD 275 million in equity earlier this year from IFC, ADB, and DEG to fund its expansion.
This collaboration highlights growing demand in the commercial and industrial (C&I) segment for hybrid clean energy solutions and reinforces India’s push toward self-reliant, large-scale renewable manufacturing.
