APM Projects Wins Rs48.73 Crore CMPDI EPC Contract for 10 MW Solar Project in Odisha

APM Projects has secured the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contract from Central Mine Planning and Design Institute (CMPDI), a Coal India subsidiary, for a 10 MW grid-connected solar power project at Lakhanpur, Mahanadi Coalfields. The project was awarded at a contract value of Rs48.73 crore. The tender was issued in November 2024.
Located on 15 hectares in Kirarama village, the project includes complete design, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning, along with power evacuation infrastructure and 10 years of operation and maintenance. The project must use 550 Wp or higher capacity modules and 250 kW or higher string inverters. Power will be evacuated via a 33 kV double circuit overhead transmission line using a 13-meter rail pole structure to the 132/33 kV Jorabaga substation, 4.2 km away.
In a separate award, CMPDI also selected the Alpex Solar and NVNR Power & Infra consortium for a 70 MW solar EPC project at Nandan Washery, Kanhan Area, Western Coalfields, Nagpur.
