BluPine Energy Wins 150 MW in SJVN’s Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy Auction

BluPine Energy, a leading renewable energy developer in India, has secured 150 MW capacity in SJVN Green Energy Limited’s 1.5 GW (6 GWh) Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) auction. The tender focuses on delivering assured peak-hour renewable power integrated with advanced energy storage systems.
The project will be implemented by Solarcraft Power India 16 Pvt. Ltd., a special purpose vehicle (SPV) of BluPine Energy, at a competitive tariff of Rs 6.75/kWh. This initiative is designed to enhance grid reliability and ensure consistent power supply during high-demand periods.
Commenting on the development, Neerav Nanavaty, CEO of BluPine Energy, said that this achievement marks a major milestone in the company’s mission to build a robust and dispatchable renewable energy portfolio. He added that as India advances toward 24x7 clean energy, such projects are essential for balancing the grid while maintaining sustainability through proven technologies and efficient storage integration.
The awarded capacity will supply firm renewable power during peak hours from 00:00 to 08:00 and 17:00 to 24:00, supporting utilities in meeting rising morning and evening energy demand through clean sources. A 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) has been signed, ensuring long-term project stability and strengthening BluPine Energy’s growing national footprint.
This success propels the company closer to its target of achieving over 4 GW of solar, wind, and hybrid projects by FY2027. With a strong pipeline of solar-wind-storage assets, BluPine Energy continues to position itself as a key contributor to India’s renewable energy transition, providing dependable and bankable green power for utilities and industries nationwide.
