BPCL Launches ‘TheGoodPrint’ Initiative to Boost Natural Gas Adoption

Oct 01, 2025

Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) has rolled out its new initiative ‘TheGoodPrint’ to accelerate the use of natural gas in India. The program focuses on making natural gas adoption more accessible and attractive through awareness campaigns and customer incentives.

As part of this initiative, BPCL¬’s Gas Business has introduced two targeted campaigns. The first, AHA CNG (September 5 – November 4, 2025), offers an incentive of INR 6,000 fuel vouchers to customers who either convert their existing vehicles to CNG or buy new CNG vehicles. The second, PNG Utsav (September 1 – October 31, 2025), provides zero connection charges for new piped natural gas (PNG) connections to commercial establishments such as hotels, restaurants, and bakeries.

BPCL officials highlighted that natural gas is central to India’s clean energy transition. Shubhankar Sen, Director of Marketing, said that the initiative aligns with BPCL’s goal of making sustainability both affordable and aspirational. Similarly, Rahul Tandon, Business Head for Gas, emphasized that the company views sustainability not just as a duty but as an opportunity to drive meaningful impact.

BPCL is also expanding its City Gas Distribution (CGD) network, currently covering 26 areas independently and 26 through joint ventures. This expansion enables the company to reach nearly 20% of India’s population, further strengthening its role in the country’s energy transition.
