Bridge and Roof Floats BoS Tender for 100 MW Solar Project in Khavda, Gujarat
May 23, 2025
Bridge and Roof Company has issued a tender for the balance of system (BoS) package for a 100 MW solar project at Gujarat State Electricity Corporation’s (GSECL) renewable energy park in Khavda (Stage-3). Bids are to be submitted by June 11, 2025, and will be opened the following day. The project, estimated to cost Rs134 crore, must be commissioned within 240 days from the notice of award. Scope includes design, engineering, erection, testing, commissioning, and three years of operation and maintenance.
Prospective bidders must submit an earnest money deposit of Rs0.797 crore and a non-refundable tender fee of Rs29,500 (including GST). They must meet one of the three experience thresholds, including prior EPC work in solar or similar industrial projects, and show an average annual turnover of Rs44.82 crore over the past three financial years. Consortiums are permitted, provided one partner meets the financial requirement.
In line with the Make in India initiative, bidders must declare the percentage of local content in their offerings. Class-I local suppliers (?50% local content) are given a 20% purchase preference margin. Liquidated damages will be levied for delays, starting at 0.07% of the contract price per MW per day for the first six months, and further recoveries may be made for longer delays.
This tender follows a March 2025 bid call by Bridge and Roof to conduct preliminary work—such as topographical surveys and soil investigations—for a similar 100 MW solar project for SJVN Green Energy.
