CHARGE ZONE Unveils Mega Supercharging Stations on Key Highways

CHARGE ZONE has launched a series of mega supercharging stations along the Bangalore-Chennai and Bangalore-Hyderabad national highways. These new stations, strategically placed every 150-200 km, are designed to cater to various electric vehicles (EVs) including passenger cars, buses, and trucks. Each station will be equipped with advanced DC fast chargers ranging from 180KW to 240KW, significantly improving the EV charging infrastructure for long-distance travel.
In addition to these supercharging stations, regular charging points will be established between the supercharging stations, ensuring that EV users have convenient access to charging facilities throughout their journey.
A key feature of these new stations is their 1.2MW capacity, which includes integration with solar microgrids to enhance sustainability. Furthermore, each station will be equipped with a 1MWh usable capacity of battery energy storage systems, enabling efficient energy management and supporting operations during peak demand periods or low sunlight hours.
