Apr 05, 2025
The National Institute of Solar Energy (NISE) and International Solar Alliance (ISA) campus played host to a distinguished delegation of Climate Ambassadors from Germany, the European Union, Sweden, Denmark, and the Netherlands, underscoring the global commitment to advancing sustainable energy solutions.
Dr. Mohammad Rihan, Director General of NISE, and Mr. Ashish Khanna, Director General of ISA, welcomed the delegation and shared comprehensive insights into the current initiatives and collaborative programs being undertaken by both institutions in the renewable energy space.
The visit featured an engaging roundtable discussion, covering pivotal topics including solar PV recycling, green financing mechanisms, battery energy storage systems, decentralized solar applications, and the emerging role of green hydrogen in accelerating the global energy transition.
The dialogue proved to be a powerful platform for exchanging ideas and exploring strategies to overcome common challenges in implementing clean and efficient energy technologies.
Following the discussions, the ambassadors were given a guided tour of the NISE campus. The walkthrough showcased the institute’s cutting-edge research and development facilities and live demonstrations of innovative renewable energy technologies.
This collaborative engagement marks a step forward in fostering deeper international cooperation to realize a more resilient, low-carbon future through solar innovation and sustainable energy practices.
