CREDA Floats Tender for 1.3 MW Rooftop Solar at Raigarh Hospitals under RESCO Model
Sept 04, 2025
The Chhattisgarh State Renewable Energy Development Agency (CREDA) has invited bids to set up 1.3 MW of grid-connected rooftop solar projects at the Late Shri Lakhi Ram Agrawal Memorial Medical College and Hospital in Raigarh. The capacity will be split equally between the two sites and will be developed under the Renewable Energy Service Company (RESCO) model.
Bidders must submit proposals by September 22, 2025, with opening scheduled for September 23. The tender requires an earnest money deposit of Rs1 million, a document fee of Rs25,000 plus GST, and a performance bank guarantee of Rs1 million. The scope covers design, supply, erection, testing, commissioning, and 25 years of operation and maintenance.
Developers must also conduct site surveys, feasibility studies, and secure all necessary permits and insurance. Components must comply with the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM). The projects must be completed within 12 months of award.
Eligibility requires prior experience of at least 2,000 kW of solar installations over the last five years, with at least one project of 500 kW or more, along with a net worth of Rs10 million and an average annual turnover of Rs100 million in the last three years.
This initiative builds on CREDA’s earlier 20 MW rooftop solar EoI floated in January 2025 for housing societies.
