CRI Solar Secures Rs210 Cr Orders from MEDA, HAREDA & PEDA for Solar Pumping Projects
Jun 26, 2025
CRI Solar, the renewable energy division of CRI Pumps, has secured Rs210 crore worth of high-value orders from three major state agencies—Maharashtra Energy Development Agency (MEDA), Haryana Renewable Energy Development Agency (HAREDA), and Punjab Energy Development Agency (PEDA). The orders involve supplying, installing, and commissioning 6,894 solar pumping systems across key agricultural states, aimed at accelerating clean and energy-efficient irrigation infrastructure.
This strategic achievement aligns with India’s broader goals of enhancing rural productivity, energy efficiency, and climate resilience in agriculture. Chairman G. Soundararajan emphasized that these projects symbolize CRI's commitment to sustainable water access and rural prosperity. CRI Solar already leads in solar pump deployment with over 181,000 systems installed, contributing to energy savings of 6,100 million kWh and avoiding over 4.8 million tons of CO2 emissions.
Backed by its Fludyn Advanced Technology Centre and strong in-house execution capabilities, CRI Solar offers IoT-enabled smart pumping solutions and robust after-sales support, reinforcing its position as a trusted government partner in clean-tech-driven water solutions. Project rollouts will follow respective agency timelines, delivering scalable, timely, and impactful results in India’s clean energy and irrigation sectors.
