Jun 24, 2025
Delta Electronics India has been awarded the prestigious ‘ESG Company of the Year’ title at the National Conclave on Environmental Services 2025, organized by SEPC under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry. The accolade recognizes Delta’s leadership in embedding ESG principles across its operations, including energy-efficient manufacturing at its Krishnagiri plant, sustainable supply chains, and renewable energy adoption.
President Benjamin Lin reaffirmed Delta’s commitment to green energy transition, citing a recent PPA for 9.6 million kWh of renewable electricity. Senior Director Rachna Kango highlighted the company’s holistic ESG roadmap aligned with global benchmarks and Indian mandates.
Delta’s environmental initiatives include an Internal Carbon Pricing mechanism set at USD 300/ton to support low-carbon projects, 5.5 MW of rooftop solar, wind power procurement, and energy-saving technologies. The company has also pioneered water recycling, biodiversity risk assessments as a TNFD Forum member, and rigorous waste and GHG management practices. It continues to comply with ISO 14064-1 standards and India's Extended Producer Responsibility rules.
The conclave, held in New Delhi, emphasized cross-sector collaboration and India's growing role in export-ready sustainable services like carbon trading and ESG compliance. Delta’s recognition reaffirms its status as a front-runner in climate action and green infrastructure solutions.
