Deputy CM of Andhra Pradesh Visits Greenko’s Landmark Renewable Energy Project

Sri Pawan Kalyan, the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, visited Greenko’s Integrated Renewable Energy Project (IREP) at Pinnapuram, Kurnool. This project, the world’s first and largest GW-scale integrated renewable energy storage facility, boasts a total capacity of 6,394 MW, including 3,500 MW of solar, 1,214 MW of wind, and 1,680 MW of pumped hydropower.
It generates 10,800 MWh of pumped storage capacity daily, supplying firm, on-demand carbon-free energy for industries like green steel and hydrogen production. Deputy CM lauded its progress, while Anil Chalamalasetty, Greenko’s CEO, highlighted its global impact and commitment to accelerating the clean energy transition.
