DTEK Partners with Fluence for 200 MW Energy Storage Systems in Ukraine

DTEK, Ukraine’s largest private energy company, has partnered with Fluence Energy B.V., a leader in energy storage solutions, to deliver Ukraine's first large-scale battery-based energy storage portfolio. With a total capacity of 200 MW and 400 MWh, the project aims to stabilize Ukraine's power grid, enhance energy independence, and accelerate its transition to renewable energy.

Scheduled for completion by October 2025, the project includes six storage plants located across Ukraine, providing advanced frequency and power balancing services. These decentralized systems can supply electricity to 600,000 homes, improve outage recovery, and strengthen energy infrastructure for the future.
