EDEN Renewables Secures INR 10.4 Billion Funding for 300 MW SECI VIII Solar Project in Rajasthan

EDEN Renewables India (EDEN) has achieved a major financing milestone by securing a Rs10.4 billion facility from an international consortium comprising Bank of America, BNP Paribas, and MUFG Bank Ltd. The funds will be directed towards the development of a 300 MW Solar PV Project under SECI VIII in Rajasthan, which will supply power to SECI (Solar Energy Corporation of India) under the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), Government of India.

This deal highlights the global financing community’s continued confidence in EDEN's operational excellence and financial credibility. The solar project is expected to contribute significantly to India’s clean energy transition, targeting an estimated 15.71 million tonnes reduction in CO₂ emissions over its operational lifetime.

Sudhir Verma, CEO of EDEN Renewables, stated that the collaboration underscores EDEN’s strategic growth roadmap while reinforcing its mission to support India’s climate goals and expand its sustainable energy footprint.

The successful financial closure of this utility-scale project not only bolsters EDEN’s project portfolio but also reinforces Rajasthan’s position as a key hub for solar development in India.
