EKA Mobility Partners with KPIT to Revolutionize Electric Powertrain Technology

EKA Mobility has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with KPIT Technologies to advance electric powertrain components for its range of electric buses and commercial vehicles. The collaboration will focus on developing crucial technologies like traction motors, controllers, vehicle control units, and battery management systems to improve performance, efficiency, and sustainability in India’s electric commercial vehicle (e-CV) market.

The partnership will leverage KPIT's three decades of expertise in mobility and electric powertrain systems, helping EKA deliver superior energy efficiency, reduced total cost of ownership (TCO), and a better driving experience. Dr. Sudhir Mehta, Founder & Chairman of EKA Mobility, highlighted the commitment to redefining mobility through cutting-edge, sustainable, and efficient electric vehicles. KPIT CEO Kishor Patil emphasized the collaboration's role in promoting clean, cost-effective mobility solutions tailored to India’s needs, supporting the country’s transition to zero-emission commercial vehicles.
