Karnataka-based solar PV panel manufacturer Emmvee Energy has announced a significant investment of Rs15,000 crore to establish a new manufacturing plant. The project, which will require 120 acres in Bengaluru's IT Investment Region (ITIR), is expected to generate 10,000 jobs. Karnataka Industries Minister MB Patil confirmed that the government will facilitate the land allocation after due consideration.

Emmvee Energy specializes in manufacturing key solar components such as aluminum frames, glass, EPE, JB Ribbon, and wafers. The new plant aims to enhance India's renewable energy manufacturing capabilities and support sustainable development.

This investment is part of several commitments made during the Global Investors Meet (GIM) – Invest Karnataka 2025. Other notable investments include Epsilon Group's Rs15,350 crore EV battery research and testing facility, Krones' Rs315 crore bottling machine manufacturing unit, and TVS Motor Company’s Rs2,000 crore expansion. Additionally, major global players like Lam Research (Rs10,000 crore) and Volvo (Rs1,400 crore) have also announced expansions in Karnataka.
