Emmvee Inaugurates 5th Solar Module Facility, Boosting Total Capacity to 6.6 GWp

Apr 18, 2025

Emmvee has achieved a major milestone with the inauguration of its 5th solar module manufacturing facility at Sulibele, near Bengaluru International Airport. The ceremony began with a traditional puja, celebrating the company’s continued growth and commitment to India’s clean energy future.

With the launch of this new plant, Emmvee’s total PV module manufacturing capacity now reaches approximately 6.6 GWp, alongside 2.5 GWp of solar cell production capacity. The state-of-the-art facility spans 4 lakh sq. ft. and is engineered for both scale and precision, incorporating cutting-edge automation and rigorous multi-tiered quality control systems.

Designed for flexibility, the Sulibele facility can accommodate a wide range of module formats, enhancing Emmvee’s responsiveness to evolving global and domestic solar market needs. This expansion strengthens Emmvee’s position as one of India’s leading integrated solar manufacturers and supports the country's broader push toward Atmanirbhar Bharat in renewable energy.

The development underscores Emmvee’s role in accelerating solar adoption, improving supply chain resilience, and contributing to job creation and industrial growth in Karnataka.
