Envision Energy India Wins CII Award for Operational Excellence at Babra Wind Farm

Envision Energy India’s 194.7 MW wind farm in Babra, Amreli, Gujarat, operated by CleanMax, has received the CII Performance Excellence Award 2025 for Leadership in Performance under the Wind Energy category. The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) recognized the project for its exceptional operational practices and contribution to India’s renewable energy goals. A four-member panel of industry experts evaluated the project’s performance.

The award highlights Envision’s commitment to operational excellence and sustainable energy. The company implemented best practices such as installing Individual Pitch Control (IPC) sensors to reduce rotor fatigue and deploying a Condition Monitoring System (CMS) for key components like gearboxes and generators, along with proactive blade inspections and maintenance before the high-wind season.

RPV Prasad, MD of Envision Energy India, expressed pride in receiving consecutive recognition from CII, calling it a testament to the team’s consistent performance and expertise.

With an investment of Rs500 crore, Envision has developed India into a key manufacturing hub with a 3 GW annual capacity for nacelle and hub production in Pune and blades in Trichy. The company is also finalizing a third plant location, with commissioning expected soon.
