EzUrja Launches Terrain-Ready EV Charging Network in Himachal to Boost Green Mobility

Delhi-based EzUrja Charging Solutions Pvt. Ltd. has announced the rollout of a comprehensive network of EV charging hubs across Himachal Pradesh, supporting the state’s goal to become India’s first Green Energy and EV state by 2026. The initiative includes 60 terrain-specific highway charging stations that will offer fast charging, restrooms, food outlets, and digital zones, creating a holistic "pit stop" experience for electric vehicle users navigating the state's challenging hilly terrain.

The company's ‘E-Way Hubs’ are built using weatherproof, locally manufactured chargers, tailored to Himachal’s climate and topography. The deployment supports the state’s target of 15% EV sales by 2025 and 100% by 2030, aligning with the registration of over 5,000 EVs and approval of 402 charging stations. EzUrja is also introducing mobile charging units and microgrid-integrated solutions for underserved regions, especially along the Shimla-Chamba green corridor.

Company leaders emphasized their commitment to local job creation, clean energy, and economic sustainability, with chargers powered by green energy sourced from within Himachal. As the state prepares to induct 300 electric buses and convert 3,000 government vehicles, EzUrja’s network is poised to play a pivotal role in Himachal’s EV infrastructure ecosystem.
