Gautam Solar Secures ALMM and BIS Approval for High-Efficiency 640 Wp R-Series Modules

Gautam Solar has achieved a major milestone with its 640 Wp R-Series TOPCon solar modules receiving approval from both the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM) and the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). This makes Gautam Solar one of the few Indian manufacturers to gain dual certification for such high-capacity modules.

The newly certified 640 Wp R-Series modules are built for next-generation solar power plants, offering exceptional performance and efficiency. Designed to deliver maximum energy output within the same land area, these modules are ideal for EPC contractors and project developers aiming to enhance returns on investment.

With a peak output of 640 Wp and module efficiency reaching up to 23.69%, the R-Series modules stand out among India’s high-wattage solar offerings. Their advanced design ensures greater power density and superior land utilization, helping reduce Balance-of-System (BOS) expenses and lowering the Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE) — making them a cost-effective choice for large-scale solar installations.

Built on N-type TOPCon technology, the modules provide multiple performance advantages, including minimal Light-Induced Degradation (LID) and LeTID, lower degradation rates, and a bifacial gain potential of up to 30%. They also maintain strong efficiency even under high-temperature conditions, ensuring long-term reliability for utility-scale and ground-mounted solar projects.

Gautam Solar will showcase the 640 Wp R-Series modules at the REI Expo 2025, offering visitors an opportunity to explore its latest innovations in high-efficiency solar technology.
