Greaves Electric Mobility Ltd. (GEML), the e-mobility arm of Greaves Cotton Ltd., has appointed Vikas Singh as its new Managing Director effective June 2, 2025. Singh will lead GEML's strategic expansion and oversee all functional teams as the company positions itself for long-term growth in India's rapidly evolving electric vehicle (EV) sector.
The board's decision underscores GEML’s focus on strengthening leadership to support its mission of democratizing sustainable and smart mobility across India. Singh, an alumnus of FMS, University of Delhi, brings extensive leadership experience from his roles in several prominent Indian and multinational companies, particularly in consumer-focused and regulated industries. His appointment is seen as a pivotal step for GEML as it looks to accelerate its transformation and broaden its footprint in the country’s growing EV market.
