Hero Future Energies (HFE) Inaugurates India’s First Green Hydrogen-LPG Blending Plant in Andhra Pradesh

Hero Future Energies (HFE) has achieved a groundbreaking milestone in India's energy transition with the inauguration of India’s first green hydrogen blending plant for LPG at Rockman Industries factory in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. The plant was officially inaugurated by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, Shri Nara Chandrababu Naidu Garu, alongside senior state government officials and industry leaders.

  • Sri Ujjwal Munjal, Managing Director, Rockman Industries

This first-of-its-kind project demonstrates green hydrogen’s potential in decarbonizing hard-to-abate industries by blending it with LPG for industrial applications. The initiative aligns with India’s broader clean energy transition and supports the National Green Hydrogen Mission’s goals.

Hero Future Energies (HFE) reaffirmed its commitment to pioneering innovative clean tech solutions that contribute to India’s sustainable energy future and industrial decarbonization. The successful implementation of this project could pave the way for wider adoption of green hydrogen in industrial fuel blending, significantly reducing carbon emissions.
