HPRGE Floats Tender for Central Monitoring System Covering 3.3 GW of Renewable Assets
Jun 10, 2025
HPCL Renewable and Green Energy (HPRGE) has issued a tender for the development of a centralized monitoring and analytics system for its 3.3 GW portfolio of renewable energy projects across India. The portfolio comprises 629 MW of ground-mounted solar, 2,665.5 MW of rooftop solar, a 46 MW wind project, and a 1 MW solar facility at the LNG Terminal in Chhara, Gujarat.
Bids must be submitted and will be opened on June 20, 2025. The tender requires an earnest money deposit of Rs25 lakh. The selected bidder will be responsible for designing and implementing a unified performance monitoring software system that integrates with various equipment and supervisory control systems across HPRGE’s renewable assets, including battery storage and dispatchable energy projects.
The system must support data retrieval via Open Platform Communications (OPC), enable storage for a minimum of 30 days on-site and on cloud databases with zero data loss, and offer real-time dashboards, system performance analytics, and perpetual data access. The solution should also feature advanced visualization and hierarchical user management.
Eligibility criteria include having completed one to three similar works—defined as performance monitoring systems for BSE/NSE-listed companies—valued between Rs4.64 crore and Rs9.29 crore over the last seven years. Additionally, bidders must have had an annual average turnover of Rs3.48 crore in the past three financial years.
This follows HPRGE's recent tender for an EPC contractor for a 5 MW/10 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) at Nachna Reservoir, Jaisalmer, underscoring its push toward smarter and more resilient clean energy infrastructure.
