India-Australia Workshop Promotes Collaboration on Renewable Energy and Advanced Manufacturing

The National Solar Energy Federation of India (NSEFI), in partnership with Murdoch University, Australia, hosted a workshop in New Delhi focused on Renewable Energy, Energy Transition, and Advanced Manufacturing. The event was part of the Maitri Research Grant initiative and aimed at building strong ties between Indian and Australian industries, as well as research and development institutions.

The workshop served as a platform for knowledge exchange among industry experts, policymakers, and researchers, encouraging technology transfer, joint investments, and strategic industrial partnerships. A key highlight was India's aggressive push toward renewable energy and Australia’s expertise in battery storage technologies and critical raw material extraction, positioning both nations as strong collaborators in the clean energy value chain.

Discussions during the sessions emphasized the need for continued dialogue to tackle global challenges such as trade tariffs and supply chain disruptions.
