India-EU High-Level Roundtable on Green Hydrogen Policy and Regulations at World Hydrogen Summit 2025

The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) convened a High-Level Roundtable on Policy and Regulations alongside the World Hydrogen Summit in Rotterdam. This key event gathered prominent stakeholders from India and the European Union to discuss regulatory convergence and strengthen cross-border cooperation in the Green Hydrogen sector.
The roundtable focused on advancing mutual recognition of hydrogen certification schemes, harmonizing policy and regulatory frameworks, and developing trade mechanisms to boost the global Green Hydrogen market. Participants also explored financial instruments aimed at enhancing the export readiness of Green Hydrogen derivatives, supporting a seamless international supply chain.
The dialogue at the event marks a significant step toward deepening India-EU collaboration, accelerating the global energy transition, and facilitating the scaling of Green Hydrogen technologies and markets.
