Indus Towers Invites Global EoIs to Procure 30–100 MW Renewable Energy Under Open Access

May 13, 2025

Indus Towers has issued a global expression of interest (EoI) to procure 30 MW to 100 MW of renewable energy under green energy open access regulations for its telecom infrastructure across Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, and Chhattisgarh. The last date for bid submission is May 19, 2025.

Eligible bidders must have a minimum of three years' experience in renewable energy generation and must have previously sold power through open access. Preference will be given to bidders who have developed at least 100 MW of open access capacity in any Indian state.

The EoI requirements include a letter of interest with the bidder’s profile, details of state-wise existing and pipelined projects, and financial records—audited balance sheets and profit and loss statements for the past two years. Bidders must also have a dedicated regulatory team for the identified states, a minimum annual turnover of Rs40 crore over the last two financial years, a positive net worth, and a liquidity ratio of at least one.

Indus Towers, India’s leading passive telecom infrastructure provider with over 2.49 lakh towers across all 22 telecom circles, is actively greening its operations. It has already committed to source 50 MW from Amplus Solar and 130 MW from JSW Energy through SPVs.
