Inox Solar Sets Sights on 5 GW Manufacturing Capacity, Aims to Become Fully Integrated Solar Energy Player

Apr 05, 2025

Inox Solar, a wholly owned subsidiary of Inox Clean Energy, has unveiled ambitious plans to emerge as a fully integrated solar energy provider, delivering comprehensive turnkey solutions across the solar value chain—from manufacturing of solar cells and modules to EPC services and post-commissioning operations and maintenance.

As part of its strategic roadmap, the company is targeting a cumulative manufacturing capacity of 5 GW for solar cells and modules over the next 18 months, with production facilities coming up in Gujarat and Odisha.

This move represents a natural evolution for the INOXGFL Group, aligning seamlessly with its existing presence across various facets of the renewable energy sector. With this expansion, the group is poised to become one of India’s most deeply integrated clean energy conglomerates.

Inox Solar will leverage strong synergies with other INOXGFL entities:
  • Inox Wind for delivering hybrid renewable energy solutions,
  • Inox Renewable Solutions for EPC and power evacuation,
  • Inox Green for project O&M, and
  • Inox Neo Energies for module supply and turnkey solar project execution.

The company also plans to closely collaborate with Inox Wind to tap into the growing domestic demand for hybrid clean energy solutions, offering bundled solar and wind services to large-scale power consumers.

With this strategic integration, Inox Solar is well-positioned to play a pivotal role in India’s clean energy transition.
