Insolation Energy Secures 226.45 MW Solar Projects in Rajasthan under PM-KUSUM

Sept 16, 2025

Insolation Energy (INA Solar), through its subsidiary Insolation Green Energy, has received a Letter of Intent (LoI) for developing 226.45 MW solar projects in Rajasthan under Component A of the PM-KUSUM Yojana.

The scope covers design, supply, installation, testing, commissioning, and 25 years of O&M for grid-connected solar plants under the RESCO model. It also includes laying 11 KV lines to link plants with 33/11 KV substations and integrating remote monitoring systems (RMS). The projects are spread across 20 sites under Jaipur Vidyut Vitran Nigam (JVVNL) and 115 sites under Ajmer Vidyut Vitran Nigam (AVVNL).

Tariffs have been finalized at Rs3.04 per unit for 16 sites, Rs2.82 per unit for 5 sites, Rs2.75 per unit for 53 sites, and Rs2.60 per unit for 61 sites. The initiative will involve an investment of around Rs750 crore and is scheduled for commissioning in FY 2026–27. INA Solar expects annual revenue of Rs98.47 crore from these projects.

This development follows strong financial growth for INA Solar, which reported an 80.9% rise in FY25 revenues (Rs1,338 crore) and a 127.5% jump in PAT (Rs126.2 crore) compared to FY24.
