State-owned ITI Ltd, under the Department of Telecommunications, has invited expressions of interest (EoI) for the EPC development of a 5 MW grid-connected solar project in East Singhbhum, Jharkhand. The project will include design, supply, installation, testing, commissioning, and 25 years of operation and maintenance.
Bids must be submitted by September 9, 2025, with opening on the same day. The estimated project cost is Rs439.3 million. Participants must deposit an EMD of Rs8.78 million and a tender fee of Rs11,800, while selected bidders will provide a 10% performance bank guarantee of the contract value.
Eligibility criteria require bidders to have executed solar EPC projects with a minimum cumulative capacity of 1.25 MW in the last seven years, including at least one 500 kW or two 250 kW projects at a single site. Alternatively, bidders may qualify if they have executed 2.5 MW of solar EPC projects under similar conditions. Financially, firms must have a positive net worth and an average turnover of Rs100 million over the past three years.
Earlier in February 2025, ITI had floated an EoI to empanel consultants for a 10 MW solar project in Madhya Pradesh.
