ITI Invites Bids for DPR Consultant for 10 MW Solar Project in Madhya Pradesh

State-run ITI Limited, under the Department of Telecommunications, has invited expressions of interest (EoI) to empanel a consultant for preparing a Detailed Project Report (DPR) for a proposed 10 MW solar project at Ward No. 12/13 in Bijuri Municipal Council, Madhya Pradesh. The bid submission deadline is September 7, 2025, with opening scheduled the same day.

Interested bidders must submit an earnest money deposit (EMD) of Rs100,000 and a tender fee of Rs5,090. The successful bidder will also need to furnish 3% of the total work order value as performance security. Eligible bidders include legally registered Indian entities such as companies, LLPs, partnership firms, or sole proprietorships engaged in solar, renewable energy, or electrical works.

Technical requirements specify that bidders should have prepared DPRs for at least one 2.5 MW solar project worth Rs50 million each, with cumulative DPR project costs totaling at least Rs1 billion over the last seven years. Additionally, bidders must have an average annual turnover of Rs50 million over the past five years and a positive net worth in the preceding year.

This tender aligns with ITI’s growing renewable energy activities, following earlier tenders for solar cells, a 500 MW solar module manufacturing line in Uttar Pradesh, and a 5 MW solar project in Mizoram.
