JdVVNL Issues 450 MW Solar Tenders Under PM-KUSUM

Jodhpur Vidyut Vitran Nigam Ltd (JdVVNL) has floated five tenders for grid-connected solar projects with a total capacity of 450 MW under the PM-KUSUM Component A program. The bids must be submitted by August 30, 2025, and will be opened on September 2, with a processing fee of Rs2,950.

The tenders cover solar plants ranging from 1 MW to 2 MW each, spread across 228 project sites in districts including Sri Ganganagar, Bikaner, and Churu. Specifically, 66 MW has been allocated in Anoopgarh and Raisinghnagar, 78 MW in Bikaner DD-I, 96 MW in Sardar Sahar and Churu, 103 MW in Khajuwala and Dungergarh, and 107 MW in Ratangarh, Sadulpur, and Sujangarh.

The scope of work involves design, survey, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning, along with 25 years of operations and maintenance. All projects will be developed in RESCO mode, with bidders required to quote tariffs up to three decimal places, capped at Rs3.040/kWh. The solar plants will connect to 33/11 kV substations and include remote monitoring systems. Recently, JdVVNL also issued tenders for 354 MW under the same program, highlighting Rajasthan’s growing push to scale solar power for farmers.
