Juniper Green Energy has successfully commissioned its 145.99 MWp (100 MW AC) solar power project in Chapalgaon, Maharashtra, on May 22, 2025—an impressive 19 months ahead of the Scheduled Commercial Operation Date. The project, developed for the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL), reached full capacity operation less than three months after the PPA was signed on March 7, 2025.
Ankush Malik, CEO of Juniper Green Energy, attributed the early completion to strategic planning, including timely land acquisition, grid connectivity readiness, transmission infrastructure, and robust technical due diligence. The achievement underscores the company’s executional efficiency and commitment to delivering clean energy rapidly.
Juniper Green Energy is a leading independent power producer in India, specializing in utility-scale solar, wind, and hybrid renewable energy projects. As of May 31, 2025, it has expanded its operational capacity to approximately 1.3 GWp.
