Juniper Green Energy Secures Rs17.39 Billion Debt from IREDA to Boost Large-Scale RE Projects

Juniper Green Energy, an independent renewable energy producer, has secured Rs17.39 billion in debt financing from the Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA) to accelerate large-scale renewable energy projects and enhance operational capacity.

Juniper has also been active in securing new projects. It won 50 MW at a tariff of Rs3.65/kWh in Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam’s (GUVNL) Phase IX wind auction in April 2025 and was a winner in the Phase VIII auction in October 2024 for 200 MW of wind capacity.

The fresh capital from IREDA will further position Juniper to expand its renewable energy footprint, advance hybrid power solutions, and strengthen its role in India’s transition to a greener energy mix.
