Koraam New Energie Surges Ahead with Rs186 Cr Solar Pump Order Under PM-KUSUM Scheme
May 20, 2025
Koraam New Energie, a brand powered by Kosol Energie, has reported a substantial rise in solar water pump installations during FY 2024–25, securing a major Rs186 crore order under Component B of the PM-KUSUM Scheme. The order includes 5,500 solar pumps to be deployed across several states, with Maharashtra's 'Magel Tyala Saur Pump Yojana' accounting for 3,000 units—of which 2,200 have already been installed, indicating swift execution.
This marks nearly a two-fold increase from the previous fiscal, highlighting both operational efficiency and rising farmer trust in Koraam's technology. The company continues to expand its channel partner presence across Haryana, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, and the Leh–Ladakh region.
Director Parag Vyas emphasized the firm’s mission to empower rural India through sustainable solar technologies that enhance agricultural productivity and farmer incomes. In line with this, Koraam is also preparing to launch farmer-focused innovations such as solar milk chillers, dryers, and cold storage units.
With its emphasis on low-maintenance, energy-efficient solutions, Koraam has become a trusted name in India’s solar pump sector. Its growth aligns with the national goal of integrating clean energy into agriculture, providing farmers with sustainable tools that reduce operational costs and increase energy independence.
