MNRE Biogas Programme Beneficiaries Share Success Stories

An interaction meeting was held at the Atal Akshay Urja Bhawan in New Delhi, where beneficiaries of the MNRE’s Biogas Programme shared their positive experiences. Many, especially women, discussed how the scheme has enabled sustainable cooking and increased incomes through bio-slurry. Some also highlighted how it has supported the transition to organic farming, boosting crop yields and promoting eco-friendly practices. Smt. Nidhi Khare, Secretary of MNRE, encouraged the beneficiaries to share their stories to inspire others to adopt biogas and organic farming for a more sustainable future.
