MNRE Hosts National Webinar to Promote DRE for Rural Empowerment

As part of the State Nodal Agency (SNA) Webinar Series, the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), in collaboration with the Association of Renewable Energy Agencies of States (AREAS) and the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC), hosted a national webinar titled “Empowering Rural Communities and Improving Energy Access through DRE Deployment.”

The session highlighted how Decentralized Renewable Energy (DRE) solutions are transforming rural livelihoods and improving energy access. It brought together key representatives from State Nodal Agencies (SNAs) and State Rural Livelihood Missions (SRLMs) across India to share successful models and deployment strategies.
