NCRTC Invites Bids for 110 MW Captive Solar Project in Uttar Pradesh
Aug 13, 2025
The National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) has issued a tender to select developers for a 110 MW (AC) grid-connected solar PV project in Uttar Pradesh under the captive mode. The scope covers the complete project lifecycle — from design and conceptualisation to commissioning — including land identification, acquisition or leasing, and full site development.
The project must be completed within 18 months of signing the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA). Interested bidders are required to submit an earnest money deposit (EMD) of ?6.60 crore. The deadline for bid submission is September 25, 2025, with techno-commercial bids opening the following day.
Eligibility criteria include prior experience in commissioning at least 55 MW of ground-mounted solar capacity under a single contract within the last 10 years, with ownership of the project. Additionally, bidders must hold a government work order for at least 500 MW of renewable energy capacity or solar park development, either commissioned or under commissioning, also within the last 10 years and on an ownership basis.
This initiative aligns with NCRTC’s strategy to integrate renewable energy into its operations, reduce carbon footprint, and secure long-term power supply for its regional transport network.
