Netel India and ORS Partner to Tackle Waste Management and Boost CBG Projects
Jul 02, 2025
Netel India, a Neterwala Group company, has signed an MoU with Organic Recycling Systems (ORS) to jointly pursue solid waste management and waste-to-energy projects across India. The collaboration aims to target both Public-Private Partnership (PPP) and Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) models, with a particular focus on integrated solutions like Compressed Biogas (CBG) generation.
As part of the agreement, ORS will lead engineering and technical execution—especially in organic waste processing and CBG production—while Netel India will handle project financing and oversee segments related to Refuse-Derived Fuel (RDF) to energy conversion. The partnership also includes enhancing Netel’s existing environmental facilities by integrating ORS’s biogas technologies to boost efficiency and sustainability.
Yashas Bhand, CEO of ORS, emphasized the strategic value of the collaboration in addressing India’s environmental challenges through innovation and scale. Rajesh Saigal of the Neterwala Group echoed this sentiment, highlighting the partnership’s role in helping India meet its renewable energy and waste management targets.
This alliance is expected to unlock scalable, tech-driven solutions for India’s growing waste crisis, aligning with national sustainability and clean energy goals.
