NISE and Marichin Technologies Join Forces to Drive Innovation in Next-Generation Solar PV Research
Oct 15, 2025
The National Institute of Solar Energy (NISE), an autonomous body under the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Marichin Technologies, a Mumbai-based solar innovation company, to advance next-generation photovoltaic (PV) technologies.
The partnership aims to promote joint research and development in cutting-edge solar technologies, with a particular focus on the performance and reliability analysis of nano-coated PV modules under both indoor and outdoor conditions.
According to NISE, the collaboration is expected to accelerate the development and validation of high-efficiency, cost-effective, and scalable solar technologies that can strengthen India’s clean energy ecosystem and support its long-term sustainability goals.
“Together, we aim to explore and validate high-efficiency, cost-effective, and scalable solar technologies to support India’s clean energy mission and accelerate the transition to sustainable power generation,” NISE shared in an official post.
The institute further highlighted that this partnership will foster innovation, testing, and commercialization of next-generation PV solutions, reinforcing India’s leadership in solar technology research and deployment.
