NISE and NSEFI Sign MoU to Foster Renewable Energy Innovation and Startups

The National Institute of Solar Energy (NISE) and the National Solar Energy Federation of India (NSEFI) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote innovation, entrepreneurship, and skill development in the renewable energy sector. The collaboration focuses on solar energy, green hydrogen, and emerging technologies, with plans to establish a Renewable Energy Incubation Centre to support clean tech startups.
The MoU was signed by Dr. Mohammad Rihan, Director General of NISE, and Subrahmanyam Pulipaka, CEO of NSEFI, in the presence of Santosh Kumar Sarangi, Secretary, Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE). Other dignitaries present included Sudeep Jain (Additional Secretary, MNRE), J.V.N. Subramanyam (Joint Secretary, MNRE), Rajesh Kulhari (Joint Secretary, MNRE), and Dr. Jai Prakash Singh (Deputy Director General, NISE), along with key stakeholders from India’s solar manufacturing industry.
This partnership aims to create a strong ecosystem for renewable energy innovation and capacity building, aligning with India’s long-term clean energy goals and entrepreneurial development in the sector.
