NISE Hosts ITEC Training on Solar Energy for Global Participants

The National Institute of Solar Energy (NISE) successfully conducted a two-week International Technical Economic Cooperation (ITEC) training program on Solar Energy Technology & Applications, sponsored by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), Government of India. This initiative brought together 29 participants from 20 countries, fostering international collaboration in advancing solar energy adoption.

• Dr. Mohammad Rihan, Director General of NISE: Emphasized solar energy's critical role in addressing climate change and reducing carbon emissions.
• Program Focus: The program focused on solar energy technologies, applications, and policy frameworks, equipping participants with essential knowledge to drive renewable energy initiatives in their respective countries.
• India’s Leadership: India’s leadership in solar energy, under the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), was highlighted, showcasing the country’s commitment to global clean energy transition.
