NISE Launches ITEC Training Program to Promote Global Solar Cooperation

The National Institute of Solar Energy (NISE), under the leadership of Dr. Mohammad Rihan, has inaugurated a two-week International Technical Economic Cooperation (ITEC) training program on Solar Energy Technology & Applications. The program, funded by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), has brought together 30 participants from 13 countries, all dedicated to advancing solar energy solutions.

Dr. Rihan emphasized the crucial role of solar energy in tackling climate change, reducing carbon emissions, and ensuring a sustainable future. He referenced Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of "One Sun, One World, One Grid", highlighting the potential for global solar energy collaboration. This initiative reinforces India’s commitment to international cooperation in the renewable energy sector, fostering knowledge-sharing and innovation among nations.
