NTPC REL Floats EPC Tender for 795 MW Solar PV Projects at Khavda, Gujarat

NTPC Renewable Energy Ltd (NTPC REL) has issued an EPC tender for the development of 795 MW of solar PV capacity at the Khavda Renewable Energy Power Park in Gujarat. The tender includes three projects: two with 275 MW capacity each and one with 245 MW. Scope of work includes design, engineering, module supply, tracker-based MMS erection, electrical and civil works, and interfacing with a 33/400 kV GIS substation.

Bidders are required to submit a bid security ranging from Rs10 crore to Rs50 crore, depending on the capacity they bid for. The deadline for bid submission is August 13, 2025, at 3:00 PM, with techno-commercial bids opening at 3:30 PM the same day.

Eligible bidders must have executed SPV-based grid-connected power projects of at least 40 MWp, with one plant of 10 MWp in operation for six months, or industrial EPC projects worth between Rs240 crore and Rs636 crore depending on block size. At least one 33 kV or higher substation must have been executed and operational for the specified period. Financial criteria include a minimum average annual turnover of Rs240 crore to Rs636 crore over the last three financial years, with positive net worth as of the last financial year’s end.
